John si Jennifer s-au casatorit de curand, dar nu vor sa intre prea repede in lumea responsabilitatilor familiale asa ca, in loc de un copil, au ales sa se ingrijeasca de un caine. Marley este un labrador adorabil, dar in acelasi timp extrem de neastamparat si cam… nevrotic, care va avea grija sa le umple vietile (si nervii) mai ceva ca o gasca de copii.
